The Air Jordan 11 “Suede” is a grey and white version of Michael Jordan’s eleventh signature shoe. It features a mix of suede, carbon fiber, and Zoom Air. The Air Jordan 11 Retro has received a most luxurious makeover, featuring a full grey suede upper in place of its iconic mesh and patent leather construction. Debossed Jumpman branding adorns the heel, while a clean white translucent sole adds another understated dimension to the silhouette. And the 2017 Air Jordan 11 Suede Cool Grey/Sail started out as a project through Jordan Brand’s Make-A-Wish experience, as Rhome Simpkins, a kid born with Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome, was the proud recipient of one of the first pairs. That might explain early looks featuring exclusive “RS” initials embossed on the heel. The unconventional creation swaps out the signature Cordura mesh upper and patent leather mudguard with a premium hairy suede throughout while a pre-aged translucent outsole unit adds a cream effect to the bottom for a unique twist.
